Beyond Engineering

Walked the open-air perimeter of the CN Tower's main pod at 356 m (1,168 ft) above Toronto — hands-free, leaning out over the city on a harness. The CN Tower stands 553 m tall, making it the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere.

Explored the volcanic spires and talus caves of Pinnacles, one of California's less-visited national parks.

Visited Big Bend along the Rio Grande — one of the most remote national parks in the contiguous U.S., on the border with Mexico.

Camped in sub-zero conditions at Silent Lake Provincial Park during Ontario winter. Frozen lake, clear skies, and the kind of quiet you don't find anywhere else.

Hiked through Banff in winter — snow-covered trails, frozen lakes, and the kind of mountain silence that makes you stop walking. That's Lake Louise behind me, its glacier-fed water still impossibly turquoise even under a grey winter sky.

Travelled solo across the UK — cities, countryside, and a lot of trains. That view is from The Shard, looking down the Thames toward Tower Bridge.

Space Shuttle Endeavour

Space Shuttle Endeavour's final mission to the International Space Station. Participated in NASA's Face in Space program — a public initiative where NASA flew digital photographs of participants aboard the spacecraft.

STS-134 was Endeavour's last flight before retirement.

Orion spacecraft / SLS

The first crewed Artemis mission — four astronauts on a lunar flyby and the first crewed flight beyond low Earth orbit since Apollo 17. Participated in NASA's Send Your Name program, which flew a microchip carrying the names of public participants aboard the Orion spacecraft.
